How salary is calculated
A salary charge is calculated per employee for a period.
What you set
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Employee | Who the charge is for |
| Period | Which time span it covers |
| Days worked | How many days are counted |
| Payout category | Which expense item it belongs to |
| Recipients | Who the payout goes to |
Four payout forms
| Form | How it's paid |
|---|---|
| Cash | Money from the cash desk, in hand |
| Terminal | Cashless payment |
| Card to card | Transfer between cards |
| Entity | Bank transfer to a bank account |
Exactly one form per payout
The switches are mutually exclusive: the one turned on turns the others off, and a payout has a single amount. You can't split one charge into part cash and part transfer — for that, make two payouts.
Tip
The payout form determines which cash desk the money leaves from. If there is a charge but the cash desk doesn't balance, check which form the payout was made in.
Who sees what
By default, an employee sees their own payouts and those addressed to them. The option to show all payouts in the interface is available to the “Branch manager” and “Main Administrator” roles.
Creating payouts in the interface is available to the “Manager”, “Branch manager”, and “Main Administrator” roles.
Other payouts
Besides the calculated salary, separate payouts are made — with an amount, a description and an extra-pay category. This is how bonuses and one-time compensations that aren't part of the regular calculation are recorded.
Tip
The branch manager marks payouts as checked. It's a way to close the month: reconciled — marked, and you don't go back to those rows anymore.
How to charge salary
- Open the salary section.
- Choose the employee and the period.
- Enter the days worked and the payout category.
- Choose one payout form: “Cash”, “Terminal”, “Card to card” or “Entity”. The switches are mutually exclusive — the one turned on turns the others off.
- Save — this is what makes the payout: the system automatically creates a cash desk operation in the “Salary” group on the cash desk of whoever makes the payout. The payout row will show the number of this operation — that's how you find it in the cash desk.
Bonuses and one-time compensations are made as a separate payout: amount, description, extra-pay category.
